FFU (Fan Filter Unit) Overview:

FFU stands for Fan Filter Unit, which in Chinese means “风机滤网单元”. It is a modular terminal air supply device equipped with its own power source and filtration capability. The fan draws air from the top of the FFU and filters it through a HEPA filter. The clean air is then evenly discharged across the entire air outlet surface at a velocity of 0.45 m/s ± 20%.

FFUs can be connected in a modular fashion, making them widely used in cleanrooms, clean benches, clean production lines, modular cleanrooms, and local ISO Class 100 environments. Using FFU laminar flow hoods, one can easily construct simple clean workbenches, clean booths, clean pass boxes, and clean storage cabinets.
